Choosing a job
If you receive multiple job offers, it can be difficult to choose between them. Some of the factors to be considered while making a job choice are:
1. Work environment : If the co-workers share the same values and work habits, it is easier to work with them as a team. Some companies offer a lot of freedom even at a junior level, while in other companies, an employee has to take permission from seniors before taking any decision.
2. On the job learning: If you are more knowledgeable than your colleagues, it may help initially, but you will feel bored after some time.
3. Job content: The work should be interesting enough for you , since you will be doing it for a very long time.
4. Company and job profile: Some companies are highly respected for their hiring standards and the quality of their products and services. If work in such a company for some time, it will help in your future career.
5. Factors influencing job choice: Selecting a job also depends on personal and family considerations. If your family is unwilling to relocate, you may not take up a lucrative job in another city.
